Legal Assistance from 40th ID JAG Office

The 40th ID Office of the Staff Judge Advocate (JAG) will hold a monthly JAG Open House to provide legal assistance after hours to personnel eligible to receive legal assistance services.  The monthly JAG Open House will occur on the Monday following the drill weekend of HQs, 40th ID  between the hours of 1700 and 2100 at the JAG office. The JAG office is located at the Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos, CA. The security guard at the front gate will provide directions to the JAG Office.
During the monthly JAG Open House you will be able to talk to a JAG attorney and/or a

JAG paralegal about a wide array of legal matters including employment rights, family law, consumer legal matters, deployment-related legal matters. Examples of documents you can have drafted include wills, powers of attorney, interest rate reduction notices and stays of litigation due to deployment. Please keep in mind that the legal services provided will be of an "assistance" nature. That is JAG personnel will not be able to represent you in any legal matter, but rather will provide you assistance and guidance with legal matters and will help in drafting of certain legal documents.
